FAQs

What type of service should I choose?

We keep our menu of services small as we know it can be confusing if you aren’t well versed in bodywork, however if you are still unsure our advice is to simply choose a service based on the length of time you’d like. Each visit starts with a conversation about where you are at and we tailor your session to how you are feeling at the time of your visit.

What should I wear?

Getting undressed for a massage can feel very vulnerable, but we don’t want this to deter anyone from receiving bodywork. Many clients are unsure if they should leave their underwear on or take them off - we can work with either choice. We encourage all clients to “undress to their comfort level”. Your therapist will only expose the area of the body being worked on, and will ensure private areas are covered at all times. If you are feeling unsure at all, let your therapist know and together you can make a plan for communication during the session as well as add some draping techniques that puts you in more control of securing the linens for privacy.

How should I prepare for my appointment?

While there is nothing you absolutely have to do before coming for your session, we do suggest coming in hydrated and clearing your schedule of physically and mentally stressful activities for the remainder of your day.

Do you offer gift certificates?

We do have gift certificates, and while they are unavailable online we are happy to take payment over the phone and coordinate pickup or mail gift certificates to recipients if needed. Call (207) 569-0070 or email to purchase.

Is the office handicap accessible?

Unfortunately, no. We are located on the second floor with no elevator access. There is a significant set of stairs to climb to get into our space. If you are unsure of being able to get in, please reach out and we can talk through it to determine if visiting us is a feasible option.
